How does The 1:1 Diet work?
As you move along on The 1:1 Diet, you gradually move towards eating everyday food again, making the diet progressively cheaper and more affordable. Over our company’s 40 years, we’ve perfected this transition so that it maximises the odds of maintaining your weight loss.
On top of the meal replacements and delicious recipes, you also get one-to-one support from your Consultant. Essentially, they’re your very own weight loss coach, so make sure you lean on them if the going gets tough. They’ll know exactly how to keep you on track.
How much do The 1:1 Diet products cost?
Our diet has always been competitively priced compared to what people typically eat and drink, but now it’s even more economical. Food prices have increased by a massive 26% since the COVID pandemic, whereas our company has managed to avoid large price increases, making our diet accessible to more. Also, when the University of Oxford researchers looked at the cost-effectiveness of using our products, they found that it was great value for money.
In terms of cost, prices vary from Consultant to Consultant, but on average, you’ll only pay around $6 for a meal. As your Consultant carefully structures your Plan, you may even be spending less than your average shop. There's no subscription, you buy your tasty meal replacement products directly from your Consultant.
Not only that, but you can also try out nine of our bestselling meal replacements with our Taster Pack. From comforting porridge to a Cookies & Cream Bar, we know you’ll fall head over heels for our yummy products.
How much does the average weekly shop cost?
Between the four years ended 30 June 2019 and 30 June 2023, average weekly household expenditure had an overall increase of 18.4%. This was driven by increases in six spending areas: other expenditure – up 31.4 percent (to $176 per week) food – up 28.1% (to $300 per week). The intensive phase of The 1:1 Diet (which initially replaces all typical food) can be started with an average of $147 per week. However, every dieter is treated as an individual on our diet, so you’ll have a bespoke plan. Also, many people don’t need to start at the intensive phase and will only need one or two products per day, meaning the cost could be under $63 per week. And all our products are nutritionally complete!
PLUS, the price of products includes a trained Consultant, who will work with you regularly, on a one-to-one basis at no extra charge. This is very important because one of the few things that just about all nutrition professionals agree on is that personalised, one-to-one support is crucial to getting the best weight loss and health outcomes. With The 1:1 Diet, you get a trained, experienced diet coach
Waste not, want not
On top of saving money with your weekly shop, you’re also less likely to waste food. The average person wastes about $10 of food, weekly. That soon adds up, with a yearly waste of just over $500! With The 1:1 Diet, and your personalised plan, there’s rarely any waste.
