Deborah Fabien (NZ/Australia) - International Slimmer of the Year 2025
Deborah Fabien is the proud winner of International Slimmer of the Year 2025, recognised for an extraordinary journey of resilience, determination, and life-changing transformation.
After 39 years working as a pharmacist, Deborah had spent a lifetime putting others before herself. Years of long hours, responsibility, and self-sacrifice took their toll, and her own health gradually slipped into the background. Chronic pain, reduced mobility, and serious health risks eventually brought her to a critical turning point.
At her highest weight of 137 kg, Deborah was facing major medical challenges and was told surgery was too risky unless she lost weight. Determined to reclaim her health and independence, she committed fully to change.
